# About — Entuit Enterprise Solutions Inc.

We build websites, web apps, and AI features for growing businesses — at a fixed price, agreed before we start. Senior engineering without an agency retainer, and you don't need to speak the language to work with us.

## Why we exist

Most business owners are excellent at the thing their business actually does. Building the website, the internal tool, or the AI feature is a different skill entirely — and it rarely justifies a full-time hire at $150K–$250K a year. The alternative, a big agency, is slow and expensive. Entuit is the third option: a senior engineer for a defined piece of work, priced in writing before anything starts. Based in Toronto, working across the GTA and the rest of Canada.

## How we work

- **Fixed prices** — clear price before we start, no scope creep.
- **We build, not just advise** — something live and working, with documentation.
- **You own it** — documentation and a walkthrough so you're self-sufficient.
- **One place to see it all** — a private Notion project page with your requests, previews, decisions, documentation, and every component you own with its renewal date.
- **No lock-in** — standard tools in accounts registered to you; nothing proprietary.

## Under the hood

The technical version: a modern TypeScript stack — Bun, React with TanStack Start, Cloudflare for edge and AI Gateway routing, PlanetScale for data — with frontier and open-source model integration, local inference when data can't leave your control, AI agents and RAG pipelines, and observability with OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and Langfuse. AWS is available when a project needs it, as CDK in TypeScript.

## Who you'll work with

**Kevin Cearns**, Founder & Principal Engineer. Kevin Cearns founded Entuit in 2003 and has spent over 20 years building software for businesses. He runs every engagement personally. He's a senior platform and AI engineer based in Toronto who builds on a modern TypeScript stack and writes the long-form engineering guides on this site. When you book a call, you're talking to the person who will build your project.
